Contributing Author — Book Chapter: Technical Work is All About Learning
I contributed a chapter to Taking Testing Seriously, with the freedom to choose the subject. I chose to write about learning.
In software testing, learning is not optional. Technology is always shifting and our learning needs to keep developing. Our work depends on our willingness to keep learning, unlearning, and adapting.
Taking Testing Seriously, edited by James Bach and Michael Bolton, brings together contributions from multiple authors exploring what it means to practice software testing thoughtfully and rigorously today.
Contributing Author — Book Chapter: Software in Use
Beautiful Testing, published by O’Reilly, was part of the Beautiful series. My chapter, “Software in Use,” was informed by my experience testing medical software and by a rare situation in which software reliability carried direct personal significance.

Publications
Beautiful Testing, published by O’Reilly was part of the beautiful series of books. My chapter in the book titled “Software in Use” was based on my experience testing medical software and the rare situation when a family member of mine relied on software similar to what I had testing when they became critically ill.
You can read my chapter.
